Puzzle Art: How to Frame your Puzzle
Share
Have you ever admired a puzzle so much that you become sentimentally attached to it in the process? Taking it apart piece-by-piece and returning it to its box feels like it would be disappointing? You are not alone in this. Many puzzle companies, like Fits use individual artists' and photographers' work for their designs and encourage you to repurpose your puzzle into a framed art piece once you've completed it - we call this resourceful!
Find a collection of these small batch, 1000pc, linen-finished puzzles at Spruce this season, featuring designs by female artists from around the world.

HOW TO FRAME A FINISHED PUZZLE:
1. Cut a piece of wax paper large enough to cover your finished puzzle. Slide it underneath the puzzle to protect your working surface.
2. Use a rolling pin (or used wine bottle!) to flatten out your puzzle, focusing on the edges.
3. Use a paintbrush (or a piece of recycled cardboard, yardstick etc.) to spread liquid glue evenly across the top of the puzzle. Ensure there are no globs or bubbles.
4. Allow ample time for drying! This can sometimes take up to 24 hours.
5. Find a frame dimensions to match your puzzle size, and keep in mind the puzzle will be thicker than a normal photo.
6. Enjoy!
